HI I’m Abimbola Abikoye!
Climate action is shaped by whose knowledge enters the room, how institutions make decisions, and what survives the journey into implementation.
My work follows that journey across climate resilience, ocean and coastal conservation, wildlife governance and community life, paying attention to what is recognised, what gets lost and who lives with the outcome.
Here, I examine the systems, decisions and relationships that determine whether climate ambition moves beyond policy and produces meaningful change.

in Practice
Across business, institutions and communities:
Much of my work has involved bringing the right people, evidence and ideas into the same room. At UNC Kenan-Flagler, I led the Net Impact chapter and its 2025 Careers with Impact Forum. As a National Consultant on Environment with UNODC, I contributed to Nigeria’s wildlife and forest crime assessment. Through Revamp Rave Network, I convened more than 300 participants from six Lagos communities to examine climate vulnerability and ocean governance.
